2022

We try not to have cuts, rather we have 4 to 5 golfers who make the varsity team with the regional tournament and the rest are on the development team. Varsity players will be selected for tournaments throughout the season. Some tournaments offer JV spots while others do not. It is not a guarantee that a golfer on the developmental team will make it to a tournament.

Challenging for a spot can take place at any practice.  If a girl from the developmental team thinks they have improved enough to join a varsity tournament  they are more than welcome to challenge for one of our top 4 or 5 spots.  A player challenge needs to take place (hopefully) 2 practices before a tournament at least.  A coach may also ask if a player feels ready to challenge for a varsity spot or encourage a challenge.  In order to win a challenge a player must best another player in at least 3 out of 5 of these categories
- Short Putting constancy
- Long putting accuracy

- Chipping accuracy
- Approach shot length
- Driving accuracy

Since most of our practices are typically in the simulator room, space is very limited and these numbers may change. Some weeks, girls will have practice every other day to make space and time more useful.

Eaglevail has youth passes for unlimited golf at both the 18-hole ($300+/-$) and par 3($84+/-$) courses. Kids must have a drivers license to take a cart or have someone driving them who has a license. After 2pm the rate is discounted.
Merch: Hats are available for purchase for $23. This money will be returned to the girls golf account for future purchases.
